Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in the United States. in the television and film industry, she's known for her nominations and awards. Bassett is a native of New York New York and raised by an aunt in Winston-Salem North Carolina. As Bassett was around five, she and her sister moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where they lived with their mother who was divorced from their father. Bassett decided to be an actor after watching the production Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. The year was 1980 and Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with an undergraduate degree in African American studies. She also received a degree from The Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980, Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grades) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the principal roles in action adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
